1946-47, Northwestern, then USA

From Eleanor Spiegel

Immediately following WW II, WSCF with 3 other national student organizations created the World Student Service Fund, later to become the World University Service. We were a group of US and international students traveling from campus to campus, raising funds for universities in Europe and Asia which had been destroyed by the war. It was primariy the YM and YW or SCMs which did the campus work. Wherever we spoke, we described WSCF which was active in many regions of the world. It's great that WSCF is e-emerging on US campuses again.

Illinois
